Minnesota Fishing Tips for Northern Pike Spawning:
Spawning of Northern Pike take place when the
water temperature reaches 40 to 45 degrees F.
Spawning lasts for about 5 to 10 days. Eggs are deposited in water 6
inches to 3 feet deep in a spawning marsh.
Northern Pike are easy to catch both before and after spawn, but are
very difficult to catch during the spawn.
