Fishing Reports for Minnesota Fishing-Archive
Name: millelacsbob Mille_LacsButch, All of the Rentals are in one area this year due to rough ice conditions. The houses are located off the back of the main reef in front of the resort. Thats good country, hard bottom of ruble and sand. The houses are staged in 2 rows running east-west. West is the deeper water but a more gradual slope. I havn,t cut a hole there but my guess is the east houses are in 18' going west to 21'. When you get out past say 21' or so it than changes to a softer bottom. If you take the west end, no noise. Name: Butch Mille_LacsHey Millelacsbob....do you happen to know how far Dean has pulled his rental shacks out??? We have a group heading up to Agate next Thursday for the weekend and curious about the water depth he has the sacks in. CAN'T WAIT TO GET UP THERE!!! Name: Tom Upper_Red_LakeWent up to Red Lake last night out from Benz-o-matic. My brother and I caught a few really nice walleye, a nice northern and some perch. I caught two crappie. We were there from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Still pretty slow right now so all you cheeseheads and city folk making plans to come up here and fish red lake might want to wait until the crappie move into the upper part of upper red. Otherwise you may be dissapointed. Keep the ice clean!
