Name: Mark Lake_of_the_WoodsSheri, from what I've heard there's a couple of inches across most of 4-mile bay near Wheeler's Point. People setting tip-ups out are doing well on pike. Also sounds like last weekend's wind crashed most of the ice on the main lake. If I had to guess, I'd say the second or third week of December would be safe for 4-wheeler's. Better be anyways, because that's when I'm going! LOL!! Name: sully Lake_of_the_Woodsi would say by middle of december you could drive on the ice with a four whealer/snowmoble some of the the spots that can be good is gull rock and if you dont where that is it is just out of arnisons lake lodge or about a 6 mile drive on the lake coming from warroad or a 20 mile drive on the road. ive got some nice walleyes out of that spot or theres 16 mile reef thats a 9 mile drive on the lake from arnisons you would have to ask the exact spot you would have to ask the guy at the bait shop ive never fished it in the winter but in the fall i didi really good there.
