I am planning on taking My wife up on 12/15/02. I know that the cities has had a recent warm up, and was wondering if this is going to effect the fishing? We will be fishing in Cove Bay, and would like to know what the thickness of the ice is? Name: Splasher Mille_LacsHere is a report, Igloo style houses can be rented from Jerry Brandt's resort, south end about a mile east of cove. on with fishing. Walkhon has 13 inches as of monday. I caught my limit of jumbos biggest being 13 inches, 28 inch pike and four eyes. cove has been slow. isle bay is ok only going out truck wise a half a mile. past the bays on the main lake is about 5-6. East looks good, about 7-9 atv's going over a mile. south, well it's looking to be about two weeks before they think about pulling out houses, bad winds comming from south caused horrible breaks and bad ice conditions. Wll i'll have another report by the end of the week. I fish the lake 3-4 times a week for ten years. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
