I just read an article and the guy checked the ice in "several" spots and the ice was 3 inches. He was out there on November 18 2002. He went out of Rogers.

i went out and caught 3 four pound crappies and a limit and then some of crapies. I was useing small shiners hooked under the dorsal fin. I also caught some northerns.

Every time I have gone up there I've came back with limits. Stay away from crwds and stay portable. If you are on them your on them. You should only be able to fish one line if your on them. If there not there move 50 yards until you find them. Don't sit in one spot.

TO JUSTIN: FISH EM LIGHT WITH WHITE OR A GLOW JIG, HOOK THE MINNOW THRU THE TAIL. START JUST OFF THE BOTTOM LET YOURE POLE REST ON A BUCKET AND WAIT FOR THE TIP TO START MOVING WHEN YOU FEEL DOWN PRESURE SET THE HOOK NOT TO HARD TO PULL THE JIG THRU THE LIP.

On October 23, 2002 I caught a shark on Red Lake. I was in a canoe and the shark was pulling me acrost the lake.

Fished the Sat the 25th in the wind. Between the four of us we ended up only getting five crappies. Real slow, the weather didn't help us either. Wind and high winds made it real tough to fish.
