Minnesota Lake Newman Lake
Hubbard County. Newman Lake is designated a Trout lake. Trout up to 21" have been taken from the lake. Sticklebacks are the only other known species in the lake. Surface water area is about 39 acres. Maximum depth is 63ft. No winter-time angling is allowed. Newman Lake is a very popular lake and for this area receives moderate to heavy fishing pressure by both bank and boat anglers. There is no development on the lake and the entire shoreline is surrounded by county tax forfeited land. Newman Lake has exceptional water clarity.
